The plot of the game takes place when Esther starts exploring the orphanage in her dreams. When she reaches the bottom she will reach a dead end and be forced to return, but in her path is the shadowed shape of a toy rabbit that then turns into a giant monster. What was once a dead end is now a seemingly endless corridor where Esther runs as fast as she can as a giant hand comes at her. Escape from the hand was impossible. When she is caught, Esther sees the image of a girl being burned to death. Esther wakes up from her nightmare and it seems that she also wakes up the other children in the orphanage. When she gets up in the morning, Esther talks to her friends Molly and Isaac. She says she has the same dream over and over again. Although Isaac hints that it means something, Molly thinks Esther is just crazy. Miss Beverly, the chief nurse, gives the children a box of donated toys and 3 specific toys reach out; a tiger, a panda and a rabbit. When Esther reached for the rabbit she caught a glimpse of the burning girl, the 6 symbols and the rabbit. esther said she thought she had seen the rabbit before, Isaac found them disturbing but Molly thought they were cute. Molly claims to have taken the panda toy and calls it Miss Bo, Isaac calls the tiger toy Mr. Stripes, and Esther calls the rabbit Mr. Hopper.

Gameplay features a young girl who needs to find her friends, solve a dark mystery and escape the clutches of her cursed toys.
